Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZ 3350
Microwave Testing is designed to ensure that radiation levels being produced from microwave ovens located in workplaces are within the tolerances set by the Radiation Health Committee and outlined in the AS/NZ Standard 3350.2.25.
Safety Master Appliance test and tag services testing of microwaves involves the measurement of radiation levels around the outside of the oven to ensure they are below the limits set by The Radiation Health Committee and Australian Standards.
Testing is undertaken using progressive microwave survey meter designed to meet the AS/NZ Standards.
Various components of the microwave oven are inspected for damage to ensure correct functioning and safety. A detailed physical condition report is provided. The electrical cord is also tested & tagged in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3760.
Should the microwave not pass the test, notification will be provided as soon as practically possible and a Danger Tag will be applied on the microwave oven.
